Claremont windows appeal
The Yorkshire Archaeological Society is located in the heart of the Little Woodhouse area of Leeds and exists to promote study of Yorkshire’s past from Pre-history to the 21st century.
Whether you are keen on archaeology, the history of your local area, or
tracing your family tree, the YAS has something for you!
But our headquarters at Claremont is well over 200 years old and it’s feeling its age! It has 17 Georgian and 15 Victorian windows (330 panes in total), all of which are in urgent need of repair. As a grade II listed building this must be done sensitively.
Show you care about your local area and help the YAS to continue to provide a place for study in this historic building.
