Finding Us

Our archive and library collections have been transferred on long-term loan to the University of Leeds, Brotherton Library.

Most of our archival collection is now available to readers and researchers in Special Collections, by appointment and giving two working days' notice. See the searchable list at https://library.leeds.ac.uk/special-collections-yorkshire-archaeological-and-historical-society.

Pre-1850 publications are also now housed in Special Collections. Other parts of our library will be accessible once catalogued. To check availability please search the Brotherton catalogue. https://library.leeds.ac.uk/find#activate-catalogue_classic
