Shipping & Returns

Shipping costs are not included in the price of publications and other items for sale in the shop. These costs will be added at the checkout stage. If you wish to collect your order from Claremont instead of receiving your order by post you will not be charged postage and packaging. When you check out your order you will be given a postage estimate, but postage will not be added to your order if you chose to collect it in person.

Please note that ordinary shipping is only available for orders weighing up to 5 kg. If you wish to place a large order which exceeds this weight please contact us.

Shipping costs cover the cost of postage and packaging and are based on the weight of the total order. We endeavour to send out your order as soon as possible, if you require a product quickly please contact us and we will do our best to fulfill your order, however, we are a non-commercial organisation and the Sales Office is not staffed full time. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for circumstances outside our control which may affect your order such as adverse weather conditions, postal delays or staff sickness.

All UK orders will be posted 2nd class via Royal Mail unless otherwise specified by the customer. For overseas orders customers will have a choice of Airmail or Surface Mail. Please note that there is a 2kg limit for orders to Canada.

We will replace any damaged goods free of charge. This does not affect your statutory rights.

If you have ordered a product in error we will organise a replacement item or refund. Postage on replacement items will not be paid unless the item is faulty or was sent in error.

Downloads: there is no shipping charge for downloads. If you chose to pay for the download via PayPal after you have paid you will be taken back to the shop where you can download the file straight away by clicking the 'download now' button. You will also be able to return to download it at a later date by signing back into your account. If you are paying by cheque the file will not be available until we have received your payment so you will need to wait until you receive an email notifying you that that status of your order has been changed to 'processing' before you can sign into your account and download the file.
