Online Payments

This part of the website allows you to make payments by debit/credit card via PayPal.

You do not need to sign up to PayPal to use this facility. For more information on paying with PayPal see www.paypal.com. Please note that the Yorkshire Archaeological & Historical Society is not responsible for the processing of payments. If you have a problem with a payment through PayPal you need to contact PayPal directly.

PayPal will allow you to pay any amount of your choice. You should not use this service without first receiving a quotation or invoice by email from the appropriate YAHS member of staff e.g. Membership Secretary, Sales Officer, Librarian or Archivist. You will also need to quote a reference number to allow us to identify your payment - for copying this will be an invoice number for membership this will be your membership number (see below for further details).

Sales

Most of our publications can be purchased through our online shop. However, if you have arranged with the Sales Officer to pay an invoice you can pay here by credit/debit card via PayPal.

Payment should only be made in response to an invoice from the Sales Officer or Archive and Library Staff. You will need to wait until postage and packaging has been added to your order and the total has been confirmed before making payment.

Please use the instructions box below to quote any information which will help us to process your order e.g. invoice reference, or name of customer if this differs from the debit/credit card holder. If you need to give us any further information about your payment you can also use the PayPal "Special Instruction" box. You can add a Special Instruction by clicking on the "add" button which is located below your address on the PayPal order summary page.

Excursions

Please pay here by credit/debit card via PayPal for YAHS excursions.

You will need to contact the Excursions Officer to book a place on the excursion and confirm the total before making payment.

Please use the box below for the date of the excursion. If you need to provide us with further information which will help us to process your order e.g. name of person attending the excursion if this differs from the debit/credit card holder you can do so via the PayPal "Special Instruction" box. You can add a Special Instruction by clicking on the "add" button which is located below your address on the PayPal order summary page.

Membership Renewal


Existing members of the Yorkshire Archaeological & Historical Society can renew their membership here by credit/debit card via PayPal. It is important that you quote your membership number in the instructions box below for us to be able to process your renewal. If you need to give us any further information about your payment you can also use the PayPal "Special Instruction" box. You can add a Special Instruction by clicking on the "add" button which is located below your address on the PayPal order summary page.

Membership runs from 1 January to 31st December each year, and subscriptions are due in January. A list of subscription prices are available on the membership section of the website.

If you need to confirm the amount payable please contact the Membership Secretary prior to making payment.

You can also pay your membership via Standing Order (please contact the Membership Secretary to request the appropriate form).
