MPs pick up on industrial heritage

  • Posted On: 9 May 2018

Here's something cheering: the value of industrial heritage comprehensively addressed by MPs. An all-party group has been sittting, led by Nick Thomas-Symonds MP whose constituency includes Blaenavon. There's a summary on his website here, which also has a link to the full report. They looked at the large and well-known museums, but have picked up too on the threats to smaller sites like Helmshore and Queen Street in Burnley. Let's hope some of their wide-ranging recommendations are taken seriously.
