Books for sale - and a classic image...

  • Posted On: 7 March 2018

If you're coming along to the industrial history day at Armley on Saturday - or to the YVBSG vernacular buildings event on 17 March at Headingley - please note: We'll be bringing along copies of YAHS's new edition of Life and Tradition in the Yorkshire Dales, for sale at £12 - and also I'll have some of my own new book, The Age of Machinery, at £15.
One photo that didn't find its way into Life and Tradition was this fine image of a young chap helping his uncle (the tractor driver) on his farm near Ingleton. It's Paul White of YAHS, who re-designed and edited the Hartley and Ingilby book for the society!
