Inventing the future : intellectual property

YAHS Industrial History Section lecture.

Ged Doonan, formerly of Leeds City Library's Business and Intellectual Property Centre, will examine how patents developed from their beginnings in the 15th century and earlier, with the fascinating stories behind some successful, and not so successful, inventions and familiar trademarks. To be held at the Swarthmore Education Centre, 2-7 Woodhouse Square, Leeds, LS3 1AD. Non-members welcome - £2.00 donation suggested. Tea/coffee is available in the Swarthmore café before the lecture.
