Dr John Cruickshank - Spinning through the West Riding.  

The West Riding woollen industry was a market leader in the textile industry, and a major exporter, long before the factory era. Dr. Cruickshank will discuss the processes and technology of yarn-production before industrialisation.

Start time 11.00 am.

Lectures will be live wherever possible but in a hybrid format - so if you cannot, or would prefer not to, join live, we will still be holding the meetings online as well - details will follow nearer the date.
