Saturday Lectures to be presented online by Zoom

Please note that all these lectures will take place on Saturday mornings on the dates listed and start at 11:00 a.m. unless otherwise indicated. Some meeting dates may be moved owing to public holidays or other Covid related limitations.

Lectures will take place online using the Zoom meeting facility.

Register your intention to attend the lecture at  FHS Lectures together with details of your name and YAHS Section at the latest two days before the lecture date.  Visitors and Guests are welcome subject to places being available.

March 13th           The Turnpike System for Local & Family Historians - Edgar Holroyd-Doveton  - Professional Historian

April 10th              Every Picture Tells a Story - Jane Dodsworth - Researcher

May 8th                Headingley Botanical Gardens - Eva Bradford - Historian    followed by

                            Family History Section Members Meeting at 12 noon (after the lecture)


June 12th             Hooked on History -the Visual nature of various sources - Tony Dodsworth - Local Researcher
